For the final project I really didn’t change anything up.
Overall I felt the piece was full, but it still needed a little touching up. So
with one of my field recordings I had of industrial sounds, I threw it on a
sampler and looped parts of it to create a robotic rhythmic sound. I added it
between the transitions of the two spaces. I felt that little touch brought the
piece to another stratosphere, creating further tension to the second space.
After reconciliation of all the pieces I felt that this little add-on made the
piece make sense. Taken as a whole, I feel satisfied with the outcome and
comfortable with the effect I attempt to create.
